Before you review the tour program, please read our following sustainability criteria:

·       We recommend winter time since we will use some local transportation, felucca ride, etc... (walking on foot till we reach some of the sightseeing) which needs more effort in fresh air. 

·       Still we will use private vans when need it in some cases but not full time.

·       Please support the local market and give them a chance to see and buy their products.

·       Support not to waste electricity and water.

·       When possible use the recycled plastics.

·       We will give you the chance for local restaurants on your own.

·       We will not use Domestic flights in this program but trains between cities.

8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS

CAIRO– LUXOR – CAIRO

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet & assist through formalities, transfer to your hotel, check in, dinner & overnight.

Day 2: Breakfast, then meet your Egyptologist guide to start your tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum which houses the world’s largest, most precious and rarest collection of genuine artifacts with over 250,000 pieces, then our private van will drop us at the Pyramids area while we will move inside the sight on foot and using Horse carriage. The great Pyramids and Sphinx one of the Seven Wonders of the World; the ancient Egyptians built Pyramids as tombs for the Pharaohs and their Queens, (optional)go inside the great Pyramids inside the Pyramids & Sphinx area we will not use any vans just Horse carriage, back to your Hotel on foot (Hotel in Same Pyramids area) Lunch on your own in a selected local restaurant. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Breakfast, check out then drive to visit the first step pyramid (Sakkara) then next stop is the open Museum (Memphis). Lunch on your own. Then will be transferred direct to Cairo Train station to board our sleeping train heading to Luxor “Around 14 hours”, dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4: Meet and assist at Luxor Train station, transfer to your Hotel, for quick refreshment, then time to explore the famous (Temple of Karnak) by Horse carriage not using vans. Karnak Temple dedicated to God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son khonsu, a great example of worship as it is the largest in history. This grand temple is actually a complex of several temples built more than two thousand years ago then Lunch on your own. Take our Horse carriage again to visit (Luxor temple) the temples purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office. Back to the Hotel for check in. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel ”B&D”.

 

Day 5: Breakfast, now the time to ride the felucca boat heading to the West bank to explore the “Valley Of Kings” there we will take the van to drop us near each site then we will begin walking to start the tour (Temple of Hatshepsut: The queen Hatshepsut was the only female pharaoh, and the temple dedicated to her - Valley of the Kings “Visit 3 tombs”: outstanding tombs carved into the desert rock, those discovered tombs has very rich decoration sand were filled with treasures for the pharaohs after life , Optional “KING TUT tomb”-Colossi of Memnon and tombs of the Nobel) back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight. B & D.

Day 6: Breakfast. Late afternoon check out. Time to explore Luxor local life and walk in the streets heading to Luxor Market, there you can support the Local products and stay in a direct contact with them (Lunch on your own) then transfer to board night train to Cairo,B&D and overnight in sleeping train.

Day 7: Early arrival to Cairo Train way station, meet and assist there then start our half day tour by visiting the (Citadel and Old Cairo)Salah El Din Citadel which was constructed to protect Cairo and Fustat from Crusaders and to unite them as one front. Inside the citadel you will get to visit the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali as well then transfer to your Hotel in Cairo for check in and overnight.

Day 8: Breakfast then check out to be transferred to Cairo airport to catch your international flight.
