Jtt key sustainability results in 2025

Accommodation:

- With the diligent efforts of our JTT team in continuously gathering the names of hotels certified in sustainability, we have been able to reach a larger number of hotels that meet two key objectives: first, satisfying the clients affiliated with our company, and second, fulfilling the necessary sustainability standards, as these hotels themselves operate according to such criteria.

- JTT executive operation team update the evaluation Hotels inspection report every three months to be sure that any updated sustainable policy at the Hotel is in consideration.

Guides:

- Yearly exam with sustainability policy included to make sure that they aware with the updates.

- Updating the codes for the sensitive areas.

- Our senior guides proceeding to pass the Travelife online exams.

- There is noticeable growth and development in our guides awareness and interest regarding the concept of sustainability and how to apply it.

Transport:

- Charter flights took place than the regular ones.

- Set deals with different types of transport companies to be able for us to reserve the right vehicle which fits the number of clients in each tour in order to contribute in reducing the negative emissions of Co2.

- A group of company members conducted an exploratory trip using the sleeper train between Cairo and Upper Egypt. However, the report issued in October 2024 was negative, citing the inefficiency of this mode of transportation in providing a comfortable experience for tourists. The report included several reasons for this conclusion. As a result, the management decided to suspend the use of sleeper trains for a period of time, despite our preference for promoting train travel over domestic flights as a way to reduce harmful carbon dioxide emissions. At the beginning of 2025, sleeper trains underwent significant improvements. Consequently, our management announced the resumption of sleeper train trips as a replacement for domestic flights between Cairo and Upper Egypt.

Initiatives and participations of sustainability in tourism:

- Initiatives to stimulate more Egyptian Tour operator in sustainability through the Egyptian NRC.

- Jtt Board of directors spoke about how important is the journey of sustainability through TV talk show program and broadcast.

- Jtt Sustainability Manager participated as a speaker at University of Sadat to present our Join Top Tours journey in sustainability.

- The company’s General Manager joined the Rotary Environmental Committee in Egypt as a form of community service that supports the company’s goal of promoting sustainability objectives.
