Tasks

  • Donate to support more local people in need.
  • Work on additional environmentally friendly green projects (such as our eco-hotel in the Western Desert of Egypt — Qasr El Bagawat Eco Lodge).
  • Plant vegetation in the desert at our eco-hotel to help offset our carbon footprint.
  • Provide more sustainability training for our employees to continuously improve standards.

Objectives

  • Encourage other tour operators to plant in desert areas and support communities in need.
  • Attract more customers to our sustainability-focused services.

Goal

Coordinate with stakeholders to strengthen sustainability practices in tourism within our region, helping the planet recover and ensuring a better future.


External Sustainability Management Criteria

Our sustainability criteria for external management are divided into the following categories: (Hotels & Nile Cruises – Hotels & Nile Cruises - Transportation- Guides & Tour Leaders – Excursions - Direct Communication with Clients); For more summary information:

Hotels& Nile Cruises

  • Must always undergo inspection and approval before being used.

Transportation

  • Priority is given to the most sustainable available options.

Guides & Tour Leaders

  • Must be licensed and well trained in sustainability standards.

Excursions

  • Clients are informed in advance about the code of conduct for each excursion.

Direct Communication with Clients

  • The JTT Marketing Department may re-contact clients after their tour to request feedback, while fully respecting each client’s right to accept or decline participation.
  • JTT newsletters are sent only with customer consent, and recipients may opt out at any time.
